Produced locally here in Salt Lake City, this bed features 2" of cloud-like Soy Based Comfort Foam, 2" of Pure Organic Talalay Latex, and a 1" Transition Layer again made with Soybean Oil which tops the 8" 825 Individually Wrapped Pocketed Coil Spring System for added pressure relief, back alignment, and motion transfer reduction. All of this is wrapped in a Certified Organic Cotton Cover grown without pesticides and spun into a super breathable textile. Finally, we use an organic wool flame barrier layer surrounding the foam for humidity reduction and safety. In general, we find that latex beds outlast any other type of mattress and tend to be the only product that can last longer than 10 years on the market today. In our opinion, Latex is the best choice for most sleepers because of it's unique ability to distribute pressure equally across the entire body whether you are a back, side, or stomach sleeper and for its breath-ability when compared all other foams.
